For nine years CHICKS WITH FLICKS has forged
its way as a premier film festival by showcasing a diverse,
and cutting edge collection of films made by women. One of
the goals of Chicks with Flicks is to bring to the forefront
the alternative, creative and fiercely independent way that
women put their stories on film. And even more importantly,
to provide our audience with an original and entertaining
film viewing experience.
Chicks with Flicks is supported by funds administered
by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council/New York State Council
of the Arts and sponsored by Kodak, Kits and Expendables.
Gift items for our audience were provided with compliments
by Kiehl's. The encoding, hosting and streaming of video over
the internet for the festival was sponsored by Zeitbyte.
